The laughing owlWhat is a laughing owl? Well you know what an owl is. Its apart of the bird family and the bird family is apart of the animal kingdom. How many laughing owls were found in NZ? laughing owls were most common in the south island of NZ. Wow so if laughing owls were alive in this day and age. How many year have the laughing owl been alive? The laughing owl was alive up to 1914 to 1930's.What a shame I wounder if they would have became our native. Bird if they were still alive? Why did the laughing owl go extinct? The reason why the laughing owl went extinct was cause. It had no defiance against their predators like rat and dog and other. Animal sad how could you people do this to our owls. Interesting facts about the laughing owl. The laughing owl got it name from the maniacal sound of it's called. The owl lays it's eggs on the ground. The last laughing owl was found in 1914.
Self Reflection: I think I did pretty well but I could have done better.
In this piece of writing I…wish i did more work on it.
My next step is…to do more work and to not get distracted

To go but all there clothes were all gone they were shocked and confused. They went to the front desk and told them what happened. And all they said was ''sorry but we can't do anything at the moment sorry''.They said we looked at each other Lucky that we had an uncle. Who lived here we call him and told him everything we went over to. His place and he got he's wife to help us and give us food. And clothes. The next day we went back home our trip was fun but short we never got our stuff back. All we had was a our phone's and our money that was our trip to Hamner springs the end!

In my writing, one of my goals is write sentences that have mostly correct grammar. did not show this goal because I think I still need some work on spilling but I'm getting better. In my writing, one of my goals is use capital letters and punctuation correctly. did not show this goals because I don't I get it yet but I'm getting there. My next step is to listen to and act on feedback from others. Teacher Comment: MJ, you have written a short but effective moment in time here. You've described the way it felt to go on the flying fox. Your next step is to use language features like similies and metaphors for impact. |
